I'm glad to hear that.

Things are...well...things. Been having trouble with depression again. But it hasn't been nearly as bad as the one I had last September, so I won't grumble too loudly about it.

I'm doing well. College has kidnapped and mauled my social life, so I just do work all the time now. In between classes and work all I want to do is sleep and watch movies, so that's been the brunt of the year. I got a job volunteering at the local nature reserve so I protect the little beach birds from being trampled on by negligent surfers (literally), but lately the weather's been terrible so I end up standing out in the rain with nothing to do but count the drops of water falling off my nose, but it's finally starting to get sunny again . Finals are creeping up so everyone's in a frenzy, but things look like they're going to turn around and actually be fun soon. I'm sorry to hear your depressions back again, but if there's one thing I know it's that you'll bounce right back! Always feel free to talk to me if you need to. [hug]

I've bounced back with a vengeance!

Got a volunteer gig creating "stills" for a local public access TV station - just saw my first two assignments on the air today. Woo-hoo!

Working on getting a grant. If I get it, I'll take a correspondence course to become certified to teach knitting. Will also put some of the money towards more yarn so I can sell more of my stuff. Made my first knitting sale - a pair of socks - in early February for ten bucks. Same buyer saw another design I was working on and commissioned a pair for twenty bucks. Cha-CHING!

So, wow. Yeah. Lot going on for someone who didn't even go out of her apartment a year ago.

Wow, that's terrific news with the knitting biz. Congrats!!! I've hoped to cash in on some of my art too, but damned if I don't get too attached to them to ever want to sell... I'm mainly a pen person when I do a lot of things on here. For this one I used micron pens after doing a pencil sketch.
