OOOookk, so i finished it in time to turn it in tomorrow. I really an happy with how this turned out, dispite the utter lack of time to fully render this ugly hunk of art homework. Still, i think this is the best thing I've done so far in class, other than my superheroes*.
She's supposed to be a phoenix, i guess. Beijing opera style. And i already know that black isnt used in Beijing opera. Its just there for the sake of the picture. Sue me. Micron pen & gouache. Watercolor background. Time~4 days on and off. Emily p.s. That little thing in the corner is my chinese name. Didnt turn out that well, but who gives. *superheroes. I have loads more art that i need to scan and post, but its all at school in my art drawer. Probably wont be able to get it scanned until june. who knows? |
